Bad Place for an Electric Car to Stall

At 3:46 p.m. Thursday, several calls came in about a stalled car blocking traffic in the 32900 block of Camino Capistrano. According to the report, the car was an electric-powered vehicle that ran out of juice. It was reportedly blocking northbound traffic from entering the California Highway Patrol office.

At 12:46 p.m. Thursday, an employee at Seaside Air Conditioning the in 26000 block of Avenida Aeropuerto called deputies to complain about an annoying phone call.

At 10:07 a.m. Thursday, an employee at 24 Hour Fitness reported a verbal altercation at the health club. According to the report, a male guest was arguing with staff and refusing to leave.

At 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, a caller in the 26700 block of Camino Las Ramblas called the sheriff’s department to report a suspicious person. According to the report, the caller saw a “shadow of a hand” in her backyard.

At 5:52 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a car driving while its alarm was sounding off in the 31900 block of Paseo Amante. The caller said the sedan, which also had its emergency lights blinking, was last seen southbound on La Novia Avenue. The vehicle was not swerving.
