The 34rd Annual Southern California Spring Garden Show takes place April 25-28 at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. The four-day show on three levels of the west wing of South Coast Plaza centers around a dramatic 25-foot-high floral creation with whimsical depictions of sea life on a coral reef, all made with flowers, seeds, and other natural materials.
Eight stylish and sustainable outdoor living vignettes are waiting to be discovered on level one of the Crate &amp; Barrel/Macy’s Home Store wing. Created by Southern California’s top design experts collaborating with South Coast Plaza home stores, the water-wise designs offer inspiration for gardens and outdoor spaces.
Levels two and three of the show will feature 35 specialty vendors with unique and collectible plants for sale at pop-up booths and boutiques, as well as nonprofits and horticultural organizations offering advice, insights and information.
Just across the Bridge of Gardens in South Coast Plaza's luxurious Jewel Court wing, Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE features elaborately decorated mannequins and spectacular installations&nbsp;created by local floral artists. Surrounded by boutiques from the world’s most exclusive brands, Fleurs de Villes celebrates the women&nbsp;artists, from contemporary visionaries and trailblazers, to world masters from throughout history.

National Poetry Month is celebrated each April as a way to keep an awareness of the best words placed in the est order. Come simply to listen or to participate by reading an original poem. Readers are limited to three minutes but might enjoy an extra turn if time allows. Published poets are welcome to&nbsp;share their books. Yet-to-be-published poets will be inspired. The event, created by award-winning author, educator,&nbsp;and poet MaryAnn Easley, has been an annual celebration designed to bring like-minded creatives together&nbsp;each spring.&nbsp;"National Poetry Month encourages us to find our way back to poetry and renew our appreciation for the art form," Easley says. The Academy of American Poets states that poetry, like music, predates literacy, and there has most likely never been a culture without it.&nbsp;

Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters

Grapes for Grads is a wine tasting experience and fundraiser that benefits students from Laguna Beach High School and Laguna College of Art + Design through scholarships that recognize academic excellence and community involvement. 
Attendees will enjoy a diverse selection of wines from California and beyond, complemented by culinary delights from local eateries. The event features live music as well as art demonstrations by talented LCAD students. An online silent auction showcases a range of items, including artwork, trips, wine, and specialty items from local merchants.
The 17th annual Grapes for Grads will be held on April 28 from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Festival of Arts grounds. Tickets are available at grapesforgrads.com.
