San Juan Creek Road is scheduled to be closed Monday and Tuesday nights, Dec. 3 and 4.
The closures will start at 11 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. each night for removal of K-rail. A message board will be in place to direct traffic. The work expected to be completed is as follows:
- The barricades will be removed from San Juan Creek Road and the newly-constructed auxiliary lane on the freeway to the Camino Capistrano off-ramp.
- The barricades on Camino Capistrano south of the ramps will be moved from the east side of theroad to the west side (to begin Phase 2 construction.) This will require periodic short-term closures (5-10 minutes) on Camino Capistrano to perform this work.
- Additional northbound lanes on Camino Capistrano will be opened to traffic.
