SVCS Girls Volleyball Enters CIF Playoffs with a Win

The  volleyball team opened up the CIF Southern Section Division 4A playoffs Tuesday with a victory over the West Valley Mustangs from Hemet 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.

Junior Chelsea Duhs paced the Warriors with 10 kills.

Freshmen Heidi Dyer and Jaelyn Greene added 9 and 7 kills respectively.

Freshman setter Jamie O'Brien had 14 assists. 

Freshman libero Sydnee Martin had 16 digs.

The Warriors (17-3) will next play Thursday against the winner of the Duarte/Pomona Catholic game.
