Scott Harper Joins BCA Architects

BCA Architects, a West Coast architectural firm, announced that Scott Harper has joined the team as a Client Executive/Project Manager.  Scott brings over 20 years of experience in  developing educational facilities. Scott will oversee many of BCA’s Southern California clients.

At BCA, Scott works on a variety of tasks including leading collaborative master planning processes to bring many of BCA’s educational clients into a high level of 21st Century Learning.   Scott has vast experience in all aspects of the architectural profession including obtaining funding from the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), three school districts that Scott is currently working on projects for are the Anaheim City School District, Buena Park School District and Brea Olinda Unified School District.

 

Scott was particularly drawn to Paul Bunton and the team at BCA architects because of their work on creating classrooms for the 21st century and their dedication to educating teachers on how to grow in a 21st century learning environment. He also is very passionate about safety in design for schools. Previously, Scott was part of a study on the integration of security devices to make schools “Safe and Secure.” He is very excited to bring the knowledge he learned concerning safety in design to BCA.

 

Prior to joining BCA Architects, Scott worked as a Project Manager for Clerkin & Clerkin Architecture & Planning. While at Clerkin & Clerkin,  Scott was responsible for managing the renovation and design of the Spartan Sport Complex for San Jose University. He also worked for LPA Inc, and Trittipo Architecture & Planning as a Project Manager.

 

Scott graduated from the Balin Institute of Technology.
