Bus Shelter Shindig; $20 for $40 Worth of Plants

Five things you need to know today, Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.

3. The Design Review Committee, which met last night, has worked with planners of the Marriott Residence Inn to reduce the impacts that night time lights in the nearby mobile home park. Before the project was approved by the Planning Commission, residents voice opposition to the hotel, partly because they were concerned about lighting and noise at the hotel's outdoor recreation and relaxation areas.
