Car Crash Knocks Down Two Traffic Signals

Stoplight is fixed, but street light is not.

Thanks to Patch staffer Megan Silkman for snapping these photos at the intersection of Camino Capistrano and San Juan Creek Road Tuesday afternoon.

According to city spokeswoman Cathy Salcedo, the traffic signal pole was hit by a vehicle, knocking the street light and two traffic signal heads loose.

"The traffic signal heads have been replaced, but the street light has not.  It will be repaired shortly, once they get the necessary materials," Salcedo said.
