City Council Tonight—but First, Tequila!

Five things you need to know Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011.

1. Weather forecast: Are you getting tired of reading this? Probably not: Sunny today with a high near 77 degrees.

2. There's a City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. today in . It's always best to arrive 10 or 15 minutes early if you want to grab a good seat. Read story to see what's on the agenda.

3. The Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Commission met Monday night. One item on the agenda referenced the Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley members' efforts to combat obesity. We’ll have a full report on that later this week.

4. Join the cantina staff atbetween 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. for Tequila, er, Taco Tuesday. In addition to drink specials, there will also be also discounts on food: $2 for crispy beef or chicken tacos.
