No. 40: Stacks of Books

No. 41: shelves upon shelves of reading material

It may not rival the Great Library in ancient Alexandria, Egypt, but our regional library in San Juan Capistrano has served the city well since December 1983. There are more than 70,000 books and other items (DVDs, reference materials) at our fingertips—and it’s all free.

Different types of formats are available: Check out a book for reading, view a DVD or listen to a book on tape. Plus, the library keeps up with the latest technology. You can download an e-book from Orange County Public Library.

Find out what's happening in San Juan Capistranowith free, real-time updates from Patch.

So walk the aisles of book stacks and discover something old, something new … and of course, something borrowed.
