Need Last-Minute Plans? How 'Bout a Last-Minute Concert?

The Camino Real Playhouse, trying to raise money to ensure its survival as a longtime fixture in San Juan Capistrano, is throwing a last-minute “mixed bag concert” tonight, featuring Renée Bondi and others.

Bondi, often seen at local events singing When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano, is a quadriplegic with a very inspirational tale.  You can watch a video about her life since her accident – how doctors told her she would never sing again, how she got married and had a son and how she still praises God – here.

The concert starts at 8 tonight. Tickets are $20 at the door.
