Adios, swallows. To mark the birds' seasonal migration to Argentina, the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce hosted a Farewell to the Swallows party Saturday.
Dozens of nearby restaurants and wineries were on hand to offer a taste of their signature fare. A silent auction, raffle and casino-style tables raised money for the Chamber, Visitor's Center Foundation and the Mission's Adopt-A-Class program.
The swallows are expected to return in the spring.
