Residence Inn Offers EVs a Quick Charge
Electric vehicles can now get a full charge in about an hour in San Juan Capistrano. The ChargePoint partnership also has mobile-app features. It's the first such station that is accessible to the public.
Electric-car drivers can now charge up at San Juan Capistrano’s Residence Inn by Marriott, where Fuji Electric Corp. has unveiled the first publicly available DC Quick Charger on ChargePoint.
The the 25kW charging station, owned and operated by EV-integrator Evoasis, can provide a full charge in about an hour, says Fuji.
And the ChargePoint-enabled Fuji Electric station offers mobile apps that can find stations and allow drivers to make station reservations from a smartphone. Read Fuji Electric's press release here.
