Beetle juice in Starbucks offerings, a French fry tasting and all sorts of other treats this week from Wall Street.

Stocks were up a bit this week despite shares in Apple plunging 4.5 percent two weeks ago and another 5.3 percent this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 1.4 percent on the week, while the S&P 500 was up .60 percent

Yum Brands Inc. (Taco Bell, KFC), closed Friday hitting a 52-week high. TJX Cos. Inc. (Marshall's) and Ross Stores Inc., also hit a 52-week highs this week, according to Fox Business.
Earnings reports: Yum Brands, yeah them again, announced its first-quarter results, and they were, well, yummy. Earnings grew 73 percent because of strong overseas and a rebounding Taco Bell business in the U.S., according to Businessweek. That explains the 52-week high.

Marriott International Inc. also beat the street by a penny and set a new 52-week high before retreating a bit. See a trend here?
Big winners for the week were Radio Shack Corp. and Marriott International Inc. Losers this week for the SJC Patch 25, Starbucks Corp. and Rite Aid Corp.

State regulators approved a $66 million budget for San Diego Gas & Electric, a Sempra Energy company, to spend on convincing customers on the ways of conservation. The money covers two years, from 2012-14, according to the Wall Street Journal.
