Mission San Juan Sets 2-for-1 Admission Dates

In 2013, residents in each O.C. community will have a day on which buying one adult admission gets a guest in free.

Mission San Juan Capistrano is giving a break to its Orange County neighbors in the form of two-for-one admission on selected Fridays during its "celebrating communities" days in 2013.

Eligible residents who pay for an adult admission (currently $9) can bring in one guest free. To qualify, residents must show proof of residency (a driver's license, for example, or utility bill).

Here are the Celebrating Communities days for selected towns (every Wednesday is two-for-one admission day for San Juan Capistrano residents):

  • Jan. 4, 2013 - Capistrano Beach/Dana Point/San Clemente
  • Feb. 1, 2013 - Laguna Beach/Laguna Niguel/Monarch Beach
  • March 1, 2013 - Coto de Caza/Foothill Ranch/Seal Beach/Trabuco Canyon
  • May 3, 2013 - Ladera Ranch/Mission Viejo/Villa Park
  • June 7, 2013 - Cypress/Garden Grove/Westminster
  • July 12, 2013 - Fullerton/Los Alamitos/Orange/Santa Ana
  • Aug. 2, 2013 - Brea/La Habra/Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach
  • Sept. 6, 2013 - Anaheim/Anaheim Hills/Irvine/Newport Beach/Stanton
  • Oct. 4, 2013 - Aliso Viejo/Lake Forest/Yorba Linda
  • Nov. 1, 2013 - Foothill Ranch/Las Flores/Rancho Santa Margarita
  • Dec. 6, 2013 - Laguna Hills/Laguna Woods/Tustin

Wow. The Mission is getting as marketing saavy as Disneyland, aren't they? Will Mickey and Goofy be there to greet us wearing monk garbs? heh. :)
