Nominate Your Choice for San Juan's 'Citizen of the Year'

The deadline is June 22.

The is seeking nominations for its 2011  Citizen of the Year.

Nominations are due June 22.

The chamber is looking for someone who contributes to the ongoing well-being of the community, who facilities changes, encourages others and who fosters a positive outlook amidst change, said CEO Mark Bodenhamer

"Community wide involvement in the selection is a primary goal" of the chamber, Bodenhamer said.

The nomination form is available at bit.ly/sjccitizenoftheyear. Completed forms can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed to the chamber office at P. O. Box 1878, San Juan Capistrano, Calif. 92693.

Nominees must be residents of San Juan Capistrano. The person should have participated in activities which have promoted the city’s economic, cultural, educational and social well being.

The selection committee is comprised of past recipients of the award and a Chamber of Commerce representative.
