Slight Chance of Rain, Thunderstorms Today

Cooler weather will follow Tuesday and Wednesday.

In what's proving to be a fall of fickle weather, there's a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms Monday.

Following a sunny, warm weekend, a marine layer deepened over the Orange County coast Sunday night. "This system will have enough moisture to threaten us with showers," National Weather Service Forecasters said.

There's a 20 percent chance of showers and storms and a forecast high of 68 degrees on Monday.

Chillier weather will settle in Tuesday and Wednesday with a high of 66 and a low of high of 54 degrees Tuesday night.
