What's Being Built in San Juan Capistrano?

Here are updates, pulled from the city manager's weekly report, on San Juan Capistrano's Community Development Department's five divisions: planning, building and safety, code enforcement, historic preservation and housing.

Tuttle-Click Ford: Staff is processing the dealership's architectural plans and its application for a conditional use permit to construct permanent buildings and relocate three cellular facilities from the Toyota dealership. Scheduled for Design Review Committee on Aug. 4 and and Planning Commission on Aug. 9, pending applicant submitting on time its revised plans and a complete application.

Historic Town Center Master Plan: Staff is still waiting for consultant Templeton Associates to complete the draft Environmental Impact Report. They expect to receive the EIR next week and will then perform on-site inspections. Once the draft EIR is released to the public, city can begin advisory board and commission reviews.

Saddleback Valley Christian School: Theon the school's second and thid phases of construction. Phase 2 includes a two-story 21,050 square foot classroom building and Phase 3 includes a 14,000 square foot gymnasium, removal of the remaining temporary modular buildings and installation of an interim multi-use trail providing a link to the Northwest Open Space.
