Woodbridge Ready to Hook Up to City Sewer

Work on San Juan Creek Road is scheduled to be finished by Aug. 29, with work on Lacouague taking place between Aug. 30 and Oct. 4.

near San Juan Hills High School: it will begin work Monday to hook up to the city's sewer lines.

In an announcement Thursday, city officials said the sewer project will improve the reliability and capacity of the city's sewer lines in the area and connect the future 150 homes known as Whispering Hills to the municipal system.

A city spokeswoman said the city is not funding any portion of the project.

The pipe will be laid at San Juan Creek Road near . It will then head toward the south side of the road to between the Hidden Hills and Juliana Farms entrance where it will cross San Juan Creek Road and run down the swale between the north side of the roadway and the bikeway to Camino Lacouague.

At the intersection of Lacouague and San Juan Creek Road, the new line will turn south and run up Lacouague to near the top of the hill.

Work on San Juan Creek Road is scheduled to be finished by Aug. 29, with work on Lacouague taking place from Aug. 30 to Oct. 4. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After the new school year begins in September, the work will be limited from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Traffic control and detour signage will be in place.
