Join us at The Ecology Center to learn about (and enjoy!) some homemade bread!
Understand the basics of homemade bread baking including creating a soaker, starter, sponge, ingredients, baking hints, recipes and more. This lecture and hands on demonstration will teach the necessary tools and ingredients, how to make your own starter, simple recipes, and baking techniques to get you started on baking bread for years to come. In this class we will be making a traditional hearty bread from New England known as Anadama bread.
