Paint your way to a cure for cancer???

Did you miss Jack the Artist at our Kid's Camp at the 2013 Relay for
Life? Do not despair! Jack Knight, aka Jack the Artist, will coming back to San

Juan Capistrano and this time around, he will be bringing durable rigid foam pumpkins to paint. Once you are done painting them, you can enter them in the Anaheim Fall Festival and Parade (for a $3 entry) where there will be cash
prizes. When the parade is over, you get your pumpkin(s) back to keep forever.

At the Relay this summer, Jack helped the participants make parts to a totem pole.  I was busy working theevent, so I missed the fun.  However, I saw several camps that proudly displayed their totem parts.  I even spoke to one mother who said she sat
down with her daughter for a couple minutes and next thing she knew, it was 2 hours
later.  She had more fun than her daughter did!  She hopes that Jack will
be back again next year.

This family fun event will be at Zoomar's Petting Zoo from 10 am to 5 pm, so plan on coming to spend the day. Price is $20 if you buy in advance or $23 the day of the event.   You can use your credit card at the Pumpkin Paintup website until October 11 or pay by cash or check on the day of the

event.  Visit our website at www.PumpkinPaintup.com  for more information.

The proceeds from this event will go towards our 2014 San Juan Capistrano Relay for Life.  The money we

raise is for the American Cancer Society and goes towards research into

fighting cancer, education into ways to prevent cancer and local programs to
assist those who are currently battling the disease.  Please mark your calendars for June 28, 2014
and plan to join us at our 11th Annual Relay.
If you want to keep up-to-date on all the events leading up to our 2014 Relay, you can start/join a team at our website at www.RelayForLife.org/SanJuanCapistranoCA

If you have not yet attended one of our events, it is a weekend full of
live music, good food and fun activities for the whole family.

Who knew fighting cancer could be so fun and
easy for the entire family???
