A local 10-year-old schoolgirl can add being featured in a local magazine to their list of childhood accomplishments.

Brooke Besikof, who attends St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, and Alyssa Antoci, both from Newport Beach, were featured in the April 2013 issue of OC Family Magazine for launching Just a Little Cloth. Their nonprofit works to provide dresses to underprivileged girls.

Antoci, who attends St. Mary's School in Aliso Viejo, and Besikof were among 20 Orange County students listed in Kelly St. John Regier's story on "shining students" who "will shape our world.”
Both girls, who are best friends, said they hope the exposure from OC Family will help grow their non-profit.

"I feel it will bring more recognition and attention to our charity and then maybe we can help more young girls," Antoci said.

"I felt honored to be part of such an amazing group of students and excited to be chosen as a recipient," Besikof added.

Just a Little Cloth is currently collecting dresses for Orangewood Children's Foundation. To donate a dress, or find out more about the girls' charity efforts visit justalittlecloth.com.

The young philanthropists hosted a charity event in September at Wild Strawberry Cafe in Newport Beach, which raised money to turn CHOC's Oncology Playroom into a princess palace for the day.
