One of the last surviving members of an Army-Air Force unit which dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan on Aug. 6, 1945 will visit Capistrano Valley Christian Schools to give a presentation, and the public is welcome.

Raymond Biel was with the 509th Composite Group. Of the initial 1,700 personnel who were part of 15 crews that carried out the bombing, there are fewer than 10 survivors, and the 92-year-old Biel is the only current survivor of his crew.
