Just came back after driving up to Monterey area. Drove up the I 5 and I must say i can not believe how bad the highway is in many sections. A rough bumpy road that goes on forever in dust and dry arid conditions. I feel for the truckers going up and back on that road. Coming home we took the 101 down and that was so beautiful and the road is in much better shape but watch out for traffic! Major delays especially through Santa Barbara but when you can look out and see that great Blue Pacific Ocean, I did not mind the bumper to bumper stop...Have a great week back to school and work!
