Big Surf Along Some Beaches Through Tuesday

By Monday morning, waves on west-facing beaches will be around 7-7 feet high, with local sets up to 9 feet possible south of Carlsbad.

A high surf advisory has been posted for some beaches in Southern California for tonight, Monday and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service predicted a moderate swell out of the west- northwest, which should cause breakers up to 4 feet high to roll in to west- facing beaches starting tonight.
