In addition, San Clemente is having a military-only 4th of July celebration at  for active-duty Marines and sailors. Reservations are required. No Charge.

Fireworks are shot off the end of the pier directly below Park Semper Fi, so the Park is an excellent viewing point.

Marine and sailor guests should be at Park Semper Fi in the pier bowl, above the lower parking lot, between 5 and 6 pm because the roads there close to traffic from 6 to 10 pm. Look for the statue of the Marine saluting the flags.

Dress warm and bring your own potluck and enough chairs, blankets, etc. for your military family. Fireworks usually start at 9 pm and so you’ll have plenty of time to meet new friends and get comfortable.

For information and tickets, call (949) 498-4958 or email heritage@marinemonument.com.

The general public may make a donation in support of Park Semper Fi at www.MarineMonument.com.
