The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship!

The Monsignor Paul Martin Knights of Columbus Council #7519 recently sponsored the annual Free Throw Championship.  The wonderful Knights visited the Mission Basilica School P.E. classes last week to conduct the competition.  Students in grades 3 - 8 anxiously waited their turn to step to the free throw line.  Each student was allowed fifteen free throws while the Knights officiated and kept a tally count of baskets.  The students cheered and supported their fellow classmates throughout the event.  The top shooter of the day was 8th grader Dominic Ponticello who made 14 of 15 shots! The top finalists in each age category move to the next round competing against neighboring parishes.   Mission School would like to thank the Knights for carrying on this great tradition!  Swallows Win!!
