We all experience the frustrations of getting to and from special events. Thousands of people traveling to one location makes for a lot of traffic, not to mention parking costs continue to increase. Public transit can save you the headache and OCTA is offering more services for special events.
We launched the Angels Express train service earlier this year, which has been a big hit with Angels fans, and teamed up with National Live for special train service to the U2 concert in Anaheim on June 17 and 18. It was a beautiful day for the 11,000 fans who took the train to the concert.
Commuting by bus or train every day may not be a viable option for everyone. But leaving your car at home just one day a week and riding your bike to the grocery store, taking the train to an Angels game, or riding the bus to the fair can save you money and help take cars off the road.
