Parade makes my 86 year old mother have to walk 2 miles after getting off train

Serious?  No way to pick up someone from train? Police are no help, just move and have to park 2 miles away. So anytime we take the train we need to check the city is not having an event? Should be a law that even cities can't block transportation. They should set up shuttle or something. It was not an easy walk. Not to mention my wife had to walk 2 miles to station to get her and 2 miles back.
