traffic nightmare

traffic is a nightmare...in san juan capistrano...these contractors who ever they are..half time no one working... or they are taking a break..which is more than working on this construction project..someone needs to be checking on this...whoever that may be...I live in san juan & never see anybody working on any of ...whoever is in charge..needs to the get his ass IN GEAR..maybe fire this company who ever made that decision should be fired...I have seen many construction projects in different areas...this has to be the slowest and most disorganized project...who ever in charge of the city ..everyone involved should be fired....

It's a Caltrans project, not a city project. They do most of the work at night. That's why there are so many closures at night. See http://sanjuancapistrano.patch.com/groups/traffic/p/closures-at-the-ortega-schedule-this-week

thanks for letting me know..it still a nightmare regardless... you almost want to avoid the whole area...kinda of hard when you live here...been no thought process or thinking or planning how it impacts local residents...

And with new housing to the East, imagine Ortega highway in the near future. Also the lack of access to SJHHS is not well planned either......

It is about revenue and money..not what is good for the city...or the residents..no thinking or proper planning..perfect example is the st.margaret school..what a disaster in logistics..I Just avoid the area completely...especially when kids in school..feel sorry for the parents...
