Gifts that Give Back

Shine Jewelry is a stunning line of hand crafted jewelry, individually designed and handcrafted by the people supported at Heritage Industries through The Northeast Arc.

If you are looking for a way to make a bigger impact with your gift giving this holiday season, you might want to check out the Shine Jewelry event next week at the ArcWorks Community Art Center in Peabody.

Shine Jewelry is a stunning line of hand crafted jewelry, individually designed and handcrafted by the people supported at Heritage Industries through The Northeast Arc.  The collection is truly unique and one of a kind, using only the finest quality materials, including freshwater pearl, genuine gemstone, semi-precious stone, the finest crystals and pewter.

The free event on Thursday, December 12th from 5:00-8:00pm will be held at the ArcWorks Community Art Center and featuring live music by Julie Doherty, festive refreshments and shopping from a wide selection of Shine Jewelry as well as the Gallery Shop.   The Gallery Shop at the ArcWorks Community Art Center is the ultimate in buying local, featuring handmade items by artisans from your backyard to Boston.

The ArcWorks Community Art Center is located at 22 Foster Street in downtown Peabody.  The Art Gallery features monthly rotating exhibitions by local artists in a variety of media. Opening receptions are free to the public and provide an opportunity to mingle with fellow art lovers, nosh on local eats, and enjoy artistic demonstrations.

Heritage Industries, a division of the Northeast Arc, is a non-profit organization founded in 1958 to provide vocational training and opportunities for adults with disabilities. They are an excellent resource for finding qualified, hard working employees for local businesses.
