Man Claims Car Was Tailing Him

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: A couple's spat gets heated, a man is arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, and another man is arrested during an impassioned argument.

At 12:56 p.m. Sunday Sept. 29, a caller told deputies about a suspicious person near the cross streets of San Juan Creek Road and La Novia Avenue. The caller claimed a man in a vehicle was closely following him.

At 4:45 p.m. Sunday Sept. 29, someone reported a family dispute in the 26200 block of Sandcastle Court. Deputies arrived and settled the dispute with the argumentative couple.

At 5:41 p.m. Sunday Sept. 29, deputies received a report about an act of domestic violence in the 31500 block of Calle La Purisima. Upon arriving on scene, they arrested a 27-year-old man. The man is currently in custody with a $100,000 bail set.

At 7:38 p.m. Sunday Sept. 29, a caller asked deputies to keep the peace in the 30700 block of Calle Resplendor. The informant explained she was a neighbor who was concerned with a situation across the street. Deputies arrived and arrested a 32-year-old man. He has since been released from jail.
