Battered 80-Year-Old Man Reportedly Found Lying in Street

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a noisy feud, an unwanted midnight visit, and a suspicious photographer.

At 12:10 p.m. Monday Oct. 25, deputies received a call to investigate a person near the cross streets of Spinnaker and Windjamer drives. An 80-year-old man was lying in the middle of the street and was severely bleeding. The caller claimed it was unknown whether the man was assaulted or fell.

Also:

At 12:01 a.m. Monday Oct. 25, someone reported a disturbance in the 26700 block of Via El Socorro. A man and a woman were screaming at each other, and the caller was concerned the fight may escalate. Several minutes later, the informant called back to report the man had just left the scene in his car.

At 12:27 a.m. Monday Oct. 25, a caller phoned the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious person in the 30900 block of Avenida De La Vista. The caller claimed two strangers had knocked on the door of the residence and were now waiting outside in a gold sedan.

At 4:37 p.m. Monday Oct. 25, an informant reported a suspicious person in the 31300 block of Calle Villa Clara. A man on a mountain bike was taking photos of a residential home.
