Bogus License Tags Didn't Fool Deputies

Faking it until he made it didn't work out for one motorist recently. At 1:08 a.m. Wednesday, deputies made a traffic stop on a car that had fake tags in the 30300 block of Rancho Viejo Road. The 2006 Suzuki’s registration was found to be out of date. The driver was from Laguna Beach.

Construction guys are known for their whistles, but now their music too. At 6:06 p.m. Wednesday, deputies received a call complaining about loud music coming from a construction site in the 31900 block of Del Obispo Street.

At 1:08 p.m. Wednesday, a family dispute in the 31600 block of Rancho Viejo Road resulted in an arrest. A 60-year-old man was arrested and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

At 5:7 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a man with a flashlight looking into parked cars along the 26100 block of Via del Toledo. The suspect was last seen headed southbound.
