Nighttime Tinkering with Power Tools Spurs 911 Call

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a man illegally selling furniture, graffiti and burglary.

At 9:59 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a loud disturbance on the 31300 block of Don Juan Avenue. The informant said a man was using a hammer and other loud power tools in his driveway.

At 2:49 p.m. Sunday, a caller complained about a man who was going door-to-door, selling furniture illegally near the intersection of Camino Santo Domingo and Via Madonna. The man was wearing a faded black T-shirt and driving a white pickup.

At 8:05 a.m. Monday, deputies were informed of a burglary near the 27100 block of Pasa Espada. The informant said the suspect was behind The Effect Church in a beige Ford pickup. No arrest was made.

At 9:30 a.m. Monday, someone called the Sheriff’s Department to report vandalism near the San Juan Capistrano Kaiser Permanente. The informant told deputies a woman was spray-painting graffiti on the building.
