Car Flips on 5 Freeway, Triggering a Sigalert

A single car crash caused a car to flip and land on its roof in the slow lane of the souhtbound 5 Freeway near Ortega Highway.

A one-hour Sigalert is in effect at Ortega Highway on the southbound 5 Freeway.

A solo-vehicle crash caused a car to roll, landing on its roof in the right lane of the freeway just after 1:55 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic on the freeway is likely to be backed up until about 3 p.m., and the sigalert will remain in effect until then, according to authorities.
