Cars Speed Through Broken Traffic Light at Midnight

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a group of teens disturbing a neighborhood, a firework violation and a verbal fight behind an alleyway.

At 12:07 a.m. Friday, a concerned caller reported a traffic hazard near Junipero Serra Road and the I-5 Freeway. A traffic light was blacked out, and cars were racing through the intersection without looking.

Also:

At 9:49 p.m. Thursday, someone reported a group of suspicious people to deputies near the cross streets of Via Tonada and Via Viente. A group of teenagers was riding bikes and disturbing residents.

At 9:16 p.m. Friday, an informant reported a firework violation near the cross streets of Stonehill Drive and Camino Capistrano. The caller said the fireworks were coming from the riverbed of the local park.

At 5:18 a.m. Saturday, someone called the sheriff's office to report a disturbance in the 32100 block of Avenida Los Amigos. The informant said two men were in a verbal fight behind an alleyway.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
