Coroner IDs Woman Killed Running on I-5

The county coroner has revealed the identity of a woman who got out of a car and was hit and killed on the freeway Wednesday.

The woman who exited a vehicle, ran across the center divider of interstate 5 and was hit by an oncoming car has been identified.

Linda Von Trapp, 52, of Huntington Beach, was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m. at Mission Hospital after the accident, according to the Orange County Coroner. She was born Nov. 24, 1960, according to the coroner's report.

Yes, Sasha. Apparently the driver pulled over at the next off ramp and was contacted by CHP soon after.

I found a FaceBook page that may belong to the deceased. If so, this beautiful person left behind family, possibly a grown daughter. Why? Even if it's being investigated as a suicide, the driver must have been part of that equation, and probably the catalyst. So tragic. I wish there were more information.

I knew Linda and was married to her sister in 1980 . Linda was a neat person and I just found out that she lost her Father . I am trying to get in touch of her mom and Diane , My ex , to say how sorry I am . My name is Neil . But am up in Idaho now and this makes me so sad to hear on 11-21-12 . I am on Facebook if anybody knows how to get in touch of her mother or Diane . I am so sorry and praying for her now . I loved Linda , I don't think she she would hurt herself . I really don't .

So why would she run across lanes of a busy freeway? "I don't think she she would hurt herself . I really don't ."
