CRIME REPORT: Lewd Transient, Paintball Guns, Runaway Pup

Here are various reports pulled from the San Juan Capistrano police dispatch log over the past few days.

At 11:54 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle in the 26100 block of Country Court. The caller said his girlfriend took his car without permission.

At 8:50 a.m. Saturday, a traffic hazard was reported near the Camino Capistrano and Calle Bonita intersection. Several drivers had stopped their vehicles to help a loose dog get off the road. The report said some of the drivers were chasing the dog around with a brooms.

At 8:43 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 38100 block of Del Obispo Street. There was blood and feces on the door step of the caller's business, so the caller said he/she suspects a female transient had been loitering in the area.

At 6:16 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle near the Rancho Viejo Road and Camino Capistrano intersection. The stolen vehicle was a blue Jeep and was left overnight in theparking lot. There was no further report. 

At 10:01 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported seeing gang related violence in the 26500 block of La Zanja Street. Six to seven people were seen fighting. The sheriff's report said no weapons were involved.

At 5:01 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31800 block of Del Obispo Street. There was a transient woman loitering and smoking in the walkway of a dental office. The informant was concerned she might defecate near the business. 

At 11:27 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Del Obispo and Ortega Highway intersection. The caller said a female transient was seen pushing a shopping cart and talking to herself. The informant was mostly upset because she had been defecating on the property.

At 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Calle Arroyo and Calle Villa Clara intersection. There was a group of 12-year-old boys dressed in camouflage and were scaring people with paintball guns from a walking patch. There was no report of an arrest.

At 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, a caller made a vandalism report from the 31600 block of El Camino Real. There graffiti done to the .

At 11:29 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious person from the 32300 block of Alipaz Street. There were four subjects loitering near the shuffleboard side of the mobile home estates. The informant they have been throwing brake fluid on cars in the area. This form of vandalism eats the paint on the car. There was no report of an arrest.
