A Domestic Violence Class Gone Awry

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services Log over the past few days.

These calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided. 

At 10:28 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 31500 block of Calle La Purisima. Two males were smoking illegal drugs and being loud in an alley near Via Barcelona. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 8:54 p.m. Wednesday, deputies reported a drunk in public in the 31900 block of Camino Capistrano. Deputies detained the man and contacted his wife to come pick him up.

At 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reportedly heard two gunshots in the 33000 block of Outrigger Court.

At 4:02 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 32100 block of Camino Capistrano. A woman was detained by deputies at Rite Aid for allegedly stealing

At 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a 46-year-old woman in the 31900 block of Camino Capistrano. She was allegedly driving a burgundy Dodge Magnum while intoxicated. She was taken into custody and later released on bond. 

At 4:29 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 32200 block of Paseo Carolina. A group of female minors jumped the fence of a locked pool area. The property management company asked for assistance from authorities. 

At 7:26 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a drunk in public in the 32100 block of Paseo Adelanto. An intoxicated woman disrupted her counselor during a domestic violence class. Deputies detained the woman. 

At 11:13 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported illegal fireworks being used near the Calle Reynalda and Calle Delphina intersection.

At 8:34 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the San Juan Creek Road-La Novia Avenue intersection. A silver Infiniti was seen racing up and down the street at the dead end of La Novia. There was no report of an arrest.
