Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested Near Schools

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a vehicular burglary, accidents and a loud party.

These are various reports selected from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 7:43 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident near the Ortega Highway and I-5 Freeway interchange. The report stated that a blue Honda CRV had collided with a blue Jaguar

At 4:13 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident in the 33100 block of Camino Capistrano. The report stated that a green Subaru collided with a white Toyota Camry near Lifepoint Chiropractic.

At 3:46 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a burglary in the 27500 block of Via La Carta. The report stated that a silver Ford Fusion was burglarized in the Rancho Del Oro Community. 

At 1:31 a.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 49-year-old man near the intersection of Camino Del Avion and Del Obispo Street not far from Del Obispo Elementary and Marco Forster Middle School. The man appeared to be driving a vehicle with an excessive blood alcohol content. He was cited and released for the offense.

At 11:16 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31000 block of Calle San Diego. The informant was disturbed by a loud party near their location. There was no report of an arrest.
