"reported" and actually occuring are two different things. They should print the arrest log. Someone could report a tsunami or aliens landing or a gas pipeline leak.. on and on. The call log is more telling of the caller than anything else. This a good example: At 9:17 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a drunk in public near the El Camino Real-Yorba Street intersection. The report stated a taxi was requested to transport a drunk woman home to Mission Viejo. Aahhhhhh, don't we encourage drunks to call a cab? Anyone who drinks in a bar and walks to a cab or DD's car would fit the definition of drunk in public. The article is worthless.

What a ridiculous headline !! More sensationalism at the cost of making our town appear to be infested with drunks when you are just exhibiting the call log.

Thanks for catching the typo, Matt. Also, for the others, please read the disclaimer at the top of the article: "The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided."
