Deputies Arrest Parking Lot Racer

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, three parole violators, a loud party and annoying dirt bikes.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 12:41 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the Avenida Aeropuerto-Camino Capistrano intersection. The informant appeared to be concerned about two minors were seen loitering near the railroad tracks

At 8:22 a.m. Monday, deputies arrested a man for violating parole in the 30800 block of Paseo Santiago. The subject was detained and there was no posted bail amount.

At 12:30 a.m. Monday, deputies arrested a subject near the intersection of Camino Capistrano and La Zanja Street. The subject was arrested during a traffic stop, as he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol

At 6:44 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a reckless driver in the 31800 block of Del Obispo Street. The report stated an old Chevy pickup-truck was seen racing through several parking lots between Rite Aid and the FedEx Office Store

At 5:09 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a subject in the 26500 block of Calle San Francisco. The report stated the subject was arrested and taken into custody for being in possession of narcotics.

At 5:04 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a subject in the 26500 block of Paseo Santa Clara. The report stated the subject was arrested for violating parole and was detained by deputies after a search. 

At 10:16 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 32200 block of Paseo Carolina. The informant appeared to be upset about a loud party that was occurring in the area. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 3:47 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the Calle Arroyo-Avenida Siega intersection. The informant reported that a sandrail all-terrain vehicle was racing up and down the street on Calle Arroyo

At 3:38 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 31800 block of Del Obispo Street. The report stated that two male minors were detained for stealing from Marshalls. The minors were reportedly being cooperative. 

At 11:49 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 27500 block of Paseo Segovia. The disturbance involved at least six male minors what were riding dirt-bike and quads in the hills behind the informant’s location

At 1:59 a.m. Saturday, deputies arrested a subject near the intersection of Oso Road and Avenida de la Vista. Deputies reportedly arrested a subject during a traffic stop who was violating parole. There were two other subjects in the vehicle who were also reportedly detained. 

At 9:55 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 33600 block of Calle Miramar. The report stated deputies detained a group of eight male and female minors. The minors were seen setting off illegal fireworks
