Beware of Men in Pink Pants

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days.

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided. 

At 7:54 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 33000 block of Lighthouse Court. The informant reported that a heavy set man in pink pants was rummaging through trash can on his street. The subject was last seen heading toward Mariner Street. 

At 12:14 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the intersection Paseo Pamela and Paseo Carolina. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a man and a woman  in a heated verbal argument on Paseo Carolina. Deputies responded to the call and reported no arrests.

At 8:49 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a family-disturbance in the 27500 block of Via Sequoia. The report stated there was a heated physical argument between a man and a drunk woman at a residence near Paseo Alondra. 

At 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported acts of fraud in the 31700 block of Del Obispo street. Employees of the requested deputies assit them with a customer who refused to pay his bill. The restaurant did not wish to prosecute.

At 1:06 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 31500 block of Calle La Purisma. The informant reportedly saw multiple minors attempting to break down the fence of a community pool to get inside even though the pool was closed. Deputies responded to the call and located the minors on the east side of the pool out side the fence. 

At 9:11 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a burglary in the 33100 block of Valle Road. The report stated that a burglary occurred at the main office. The report did not state if there was any damage or stolen items.
