CRIME REPORTS: Rowdy Party, Brawl, Broken Floodlight

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Juan Capistrano police log over the past few days.

At 7:50 p.m. Saturday, a non-injury traffic accident occurred in the 26300 block of Lakeview Road. The vehicles involved were a white Chevy Tahoe and a GMC van. 

At 3:34 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26000 block of Avenida Aeropuerto. A woman was in a verbal argument with her brother and allegedly tried to stab him with her keys. There was no reported arrest. 

At 8:18 p.m. Friday, police responded to a noise disturbance at the Forster Mansion in the 21700 block of the Ortega highway. There was a large party in progress with loud music and the hosts were compliant when advised to stop. Police were called again at 9:30 p.m as the loud party was continuing and a lot of people were reportedly drinking in the backyard.

At 4:48 p.m. Friday, a caller reported vandalism in progress from the cross streets of Via Madonna and Via Del Cerro. A group of minors drove into the Four Oaks park in their cream colored, four door Cadillac and were doing donuts. A resident said the grass was torn up and the minors took off and made a left on San Juan Creek Road. Another resident who lives on Via Del Cerro looked at the tire marks and said they are really not that bad. 

At 9:34 p.m. Thursday, a 31-year-old woman was arrested at the cross streets of Rancho Viejo road and the Ortega Highway. The report said an officer flagged down a fight between two woman in a shopping center and some injuries occurred during the assault. Another officer was requested and the arrested woman is currently in custody with no set bail amount.

At 6:12 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a gang disturbance from the cross streets of Del Obispo and Camino Capistrano. There were four men who looked like they might belong to a gang, and who were about to start a fight.

At 8:32 p.m. Wednesday, police helped settle a dispute at at a residence in the 31500 block of Los Rios street. A woman’s landlord had put all of her stuff on the porch and she felt some things were missing. Police made no further report. 

At 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a reckless driver at the cross street of Camino Capistrano and Junipero Serra Road. There was a green Honda doing donuts in the intersection. 

At 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a vandalism in progress from the 2800 block of Horseshoe Bend. The informant's neighbor broke her floodlight with a stick because the light bothered him. Police report no report of an arrest.  

At 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a white Honda Civic was stolen from the 31400 block of  Windsong Drive. The vehicle was parked on the street overnight.
