Wanted Men Come to SJC, Get Caught

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a stolen trailer, fireworks and a collision.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 11:14 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 24-year-old man near the La Novia-San Juan Creek Road intersection. Deputies were conducting a pedestrian check, and it was discovered the man had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody with a bail amount of $20,000. 

At 7:01 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 26000 block of Via Del Rey. The informant appeared to be upset because the fireworks were loud and were being set off near their location.

At 11:58 a.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 32-year-old man near the Del Obispo and Aguacate streets. The man was driving recklessly and deputies discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest. The subject has since been released on a bond. 

At 10:22 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported that a trailer was stolen in the 33000 block of Lighthouse Court.

At 10:54 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident near the intersection of La Novia and San Juan Creek Road. The report stated that a white Ford F-150 and a gray vehicle had collided. Both vehicles were in the middle of the intersection.
