CRIME REPORTS: Wedding Fight, Reckless Drivers

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Juan Capistrano Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 10:18 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported vandalism to her residence in the 31500 block of Avenida De La Vista. Unidentified subjects had smashed some of her planters. Police made no report of an arrest. 

At 6:06 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported an incident of indecent exposure at Del Obispo and Ortega Highway. There was a homeless man urinating near the former Sizzler.

At 11:15 p.m. Friday, a caller reported that two people were drunk in public at the corner of Del Obispo and Ortega Highway. From the , the caller saw them stumbling down the street and was concerned they would get into a vehicle and drive.

At 10:28 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance from the 31800 block of Camino Capistrano. There was a fight at a wedding reception of about 180 people. The wedding was held at the . It was unknown how many people were actually involved in the fight. One woman was injured and an ambulance was needed.

At 6:33 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported vandalism in progress at Camino Capistrano and Junipero Serra Road. There were four male high school kids tagging near the bridge. Police made no further reports.

At 1:59 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. There was a group of four male subjects who had been drinking in front of their home all morning. 

At 8:47 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a reckless driver near Rancho Viejo Road and Junipero Serra Road. A white truck was driving 70-80 mph, and was crossing into on coming traffic. The driver of the truck also exited the freeway at and did donuts in the middle of the intersection. Police did not report if they were able to locate the driver. 

At 5 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near Junipero Serra Road and Camino Capistrano. There was an unknown subject throwing oranges onto the freeway. Police made no report of an arrest. 

At 8:26 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a family dispute at the 31500 block of Los Rios street. There was a 17-year-old girl who was refusing to go to school and whose mother needed the help of the police to maker her go. 

At 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, a hit and run on a parked vehicle was reported from the 29500 block of Calle Ricardo. Police have made no further reports.
