Truck Crashes Through Fence, Driver Found Unresponsive

At 10:23 p.m. Wednesday, deputies received a call about a traffic accident with unknown injuries at the intersection of Via de Agua and Camino Las Ramblas. When they arrived, they found a driver in a black truck unresponsive. Firefighters arrived on the scene. Deputies believed the driver may have crashed through a fence, as a fence was “stuck on the vehicle,” according to the report.

At 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a drunk in public at San Juan Hills High School.

At 8:44 p.m. Tuesday, a caller phoned the sheriff’s department to report an unoccupied vehicle that may have been involved with a hit-and-run accident. The informant said the car was parked on Camino Del Avion between Del Obispo Street and Avenida Pedrigal with its blinkers on and showing front-end damage.

At 1:19 p.m. Tuesday, an employee at the Rite Aid on Plaza Drive reported a customer tried to submit forged prescriptions.

At 11:31 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance at the Camino Capistrano-Junipero Serra Road intersection. When deputies arrived, they discovered a 40-year-old man in violation of an injunction. He was arrested and remains in jail on $30,000 bail.
