Deputies Get Report of Chinese Lantern Launch

At 9:03 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported suspicious circumstances at San Juan Elementary. According to the report, someone was launching five Chinese lanterns.

At 8:57 p.m. Thursday, a car was reportedly blocking traffic near the intersection of Spotted Bull Lane and Rancho Viejo Road. The red, two-door Saturn reportedly ran out of gas. A tow truck was called.

At 4:51 p.m. Thursday, a disturbance was reported in the 30400 block of Via Cantabria. A 22-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody with no bail posted.

At 3:08 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a traffic hazard near the intersection of Via Del Rey and Paseo Miraflores. According to the caller, traffic cones and a “kids at play” sign was impeding traffic.
