Deputies Hunt and Get Their Man

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, some arrests and possible street-side living in a motorhome that overstayed its welcome.

At 7:06 a.m. Tuesday, a call about a suspicious person near the intersection of Calle Jardin and Via Solis resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old man. The caller said the man was last seen heading toward Alipaz Street, for a house under construction. As deputies followed the trail, they came across a woman who claimed the suspect ransacked her car. The man was arrested. He remains in custody with no bail posted.

At 2:09 p.m. Wednesday, a pedestrian check in the 32100 block of Paseo Adelanto resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old man who was wanted for violating the terms of his probation in a 2010 drug-related case.

At 12:09 p.m.  Wednesday, someone called the sheriff’s department to complain about a 29-foot, beige motorhome parked in the same spot for three days near the Village-Trabuco Creek roads intersection. The caller suspected someone might be living out of it.

At 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, a caller phoned deputies to complain about a man riding a motorcycle offroad at the end of Avenida California.

At 11:10 p.m. Monday, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a hit-and-run misdemeanor in the 32700 block of Alipaz Street.
