Who Called for Help? We Did! No We Didn't

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a suspicious driver is arrested, warrants land a man in jail and another man almost falls into traffic.

At 8:15 p.m. Thursday Jan. 9, deputies received a call about a family dispute in the 26500 block of La Zanja Street. The caller claimed his cousins were in an intense verbal argument. When deputies arrived, the residents denied calling for help.

At 10:34 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 8, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near the cross streets of Trabuco Creek Road and Village Road. Deputies detained the driver and searched the vehicle. The 41-year-old man was arrested for unknown reasons and is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 6:35 a.m. Thursday Jan. 9, deputies stopped a vehicle near the cross streets of Ortega Highway and Rancho Viejo Road. Pulling two warrants for a passenger, deputies arrested a 48-year-old man. He is currently in custody with bail set at $10,000.

At 12:49 p.m. Friday Jan. 10, a caller reported a disturbance near the cross streets of San Juan Creek Road and Camino Capistrano. The caller said a man with a beard was stumbling on the sidewalk and almost fell into traffic.
